Fremont Flowers Floral Academy
The Fremont Flowers Floral Academy has floral design classes to meet all of your needs. Whether you are an enthusiast wishing to learn the trade or a professional retail florist, our floral design classes are the perfect opportunity to fine tune your skills.
Our beginning classes cover floral design basics such as color theory and balance, bow making, vase and basket arranging, as well as general care and handling of flowers. The class introduces students to corsage design and bridal bouquet construction techniques. Our advanced classes include a more in depth study of various styles of floral design and principals such as high-style tropical, ikebana and pavé.
Current intermediate and advanced classes are 8 sessions, every Thursday from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The fee for each session is $12.50 plus a session material fee which varies depending on the project.The material fee will cover all flowers and materials for the current session's project (s), and each participant will take their project home at the end of each session. Beginning sessions run 6 weeks and are held every Wednesday at 7 pm. Our special project classes are ongoing. Each beginner and intermediate class requires the completion of the prior, as each build on the foundation of the knowledge gained in initial classes. Please call for the current class schedule.

Our workshop series is an ongoing class composed of those students wishing to continue exploring a variety of design styles. More informal in nature, these classes are conducted on Thursday evenings and continue throughout the year. Seasonal florals will be explored...as the season change so will the projects for our workshop classes.
